Hops the Atlantic: Now on Sale!

WWI London BombsiteTime-out for Hackers

I’d hoped to have the sequel to The Girl in the Jitterbug Dress Hops the Atlantic in time for Christmas and let everyone know about it, but just as it was listed on Amazon, my website got hacked.

I barely eked out the post for wonderful fellow swing dancer author Renee Conoulty and her novel  It Don’t Mean a Thing, before I had to scramble daily to find the break-in and delete the malicious files. NOT FUN!  If you haven’t had a chance to check our her guest blog, please do. She’s got great advice on snoods and a pattern ‘ta boot! Not to mention her wonderful contemporary swing dance book set in beautiful Australia.

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who didn’t desert me our unfollow the blog. I apologize if you received any spammy emails from the site! We have been working hard to clear everything malicious from the site. If you don’t already follow the newsletter, please consider adding yourself to it now.

Are you dying to hear about Hops the Atlantic? I’m excited to continue June and Violet’s adventures in dance and love.

~Fall in Love on the Dance Floor~

When vintage fashionista Rose sews dissension between June and James, June is driven to choose between the security of her family, friends, and swing scene, or run off with an international swing boy.

Will the handsome Swede turn June’s head with an offer to teach Jitterbug across Europe? And is he really the sparkling Lindy Hop star he claimed to be when he twirled her around the historic Catalina ballroom?

Return to Violet’s world of big band jazz, seedy nightclubs, and WWII. Follow her through 1940’s Los Angeles and early wartime Vegas when she transformed herself into a jazzy songbird.

Will the truth about the murder, the mob, and her murky history undo her rekindled relationship with her lost Jitterbug love and newfound family? And will Violet, Charles, and June finally confirm a biological connection?

The Girl in the Jitterbug Dress Hops the Atlantic continues the story of two women from two different eras, confronting life-altering choices about love, marriage, birth, and death, contrasted by 1940’s Vegas glamour and the seductive thrill of hopping across Europe.

Don’t forget to check out the new soundtrack to Hops the Atlantic. I’ve added it to the site and you tube for easy access, one for June with Neo-swing and one for Violet with classics.  I hope you enjoy the songs I picked as much as I enjoyed choosing them. I danced around my room to each one of them. The Neo-swing soundtrack really brought back memories of early swing dancing in the 1990s. How about for you? Send me your faves you’d like to see mentioned.

I also added some Fun Facts at the back of Hops the Atlantic about the research and what was real and what was fictionalized.

As always, I need your support, especially shares and reviews. I’m excited for you to read my novels and hope you love June and Violet as much as I do. Please let everyone know and write reviews on Goodreads and Amazon, please!.

Guess what else? I participated in NaNoWriMo again this year and fleshed out the final installment of The Girl in the Jitterbug Dress to wrap up the trilogy. The working title is Dancing in the Dark! Maybe slated for late 2017.

In the meantime, I’m doing final edits and am in production on The Flapper Affair: A 1920s Time-travel, Murder-mystery, Paranormal Romance. I’ve included a sneak peek in the back of Hops the Atlantic. Let me know what you think of the preview.
